Finally! [Sep. 29th, 2005|12:10 am]
[mood |lots of moods, all at once]
[music |Queens Of The Stone Age-Give The Mule What He Wants]

The Phoenix will be getting Dig! soon, so I can finally get to see it. Shame Helen's not in Oxford anymore, as we'd planned on seeing it together. Damn stupid cinema taking so damn long to show it.

And I squealed like an overexcited toddler when I saw it in the Coming Soon section of the email. I'm so lame.

Note to self... [Sep. 3rd, 2005|11:39 am]
[music |Mercury Rev-Goddess On A Highway]

If you put milk on the top shelf of the fridge, directly underneath the freezer compartment, it will freeze.

Sorry to whoever I yoinked the semi-skimmed from, but mine was all in a lump.

How to open the "security packaging" on a pair of scissors... [Sep. 2nd, 2005|11:14 pm]
[mood |satisfiedtriumphant]
[music |The Strokes-New York City Cops]

"To release contents snip tie here and remove carefully" (oh how my heart aches for a comma).

Now, if I had scissors to snip here, why exactly would I be buying scissors in the first place? Dammit!

ooh, although apparently just being angry and twisting at the packaging gets the scissors out, and if you then open them, the tie flies off into the distance. I wonder where it went.

Well Jim asked for more updates! [Sep. 1st, 2005|06:36 pm]
So Het and I went to Tesco and on the way back there was a table and two bins outside Oxfam full of stuff they were giving away for free. We got books and a toy pistol and two swords and a light sabre and a typewriter and an inflatable something-we'll only be able to tell what it is once we've inflated it.

Woo!

Gill! Stop pissing about on the internet and get packing! [Sep. 1st, 2005|02:52 pm]
Must motivate myself somehow. Hmm, well, if I get everything done soon enough, I'll be able to go out tonight. Right. Yes.

But I hate packing!
